I am no where near getting married, but I know I want a birdcage veil when and if that ever happens. I think they are so chic, and really makes a statement in comparison to flowy, layered veils everyone else wears. I don't know if I will wear mine to both the ceremony and reception... maybe a traditional veil for the ceremony, then switch to the birdcage after (hey, every girl dreams out their wedding day!)
It's a short veil, with no layers and usually made with wider netting. Traditionally it was worn with a hat, but it is most often attached with a comb or pins today. You often see feathers or flowers accompanying it.

Oh, those are very nice. I really like the third one, with the flower. Now I'm going to consider one of those for when I'll get married (not in the near future, haha)
totally agree! Man, I might even just wear these on the streets....haute ;)
I love veils! They add some mysterious and vintage feel into the elegant and beautiful pieces! Truly amazing!
These are beautiful.
IF I ever get married, I'd want one of these. =)
